» Basic Tactics- order of play, centre passes, back line passes.

» Advanced Skills- turning in the air, reverse pivot.

» All players will work towards gaining a skill award certificate

» All girls over 14 will work on the young netball organiser’s award and the young umpire’s award.

There will be ample opportunity to put these skills into the game situations with games each day and a tournament at the end of the week. We also hope to include some fun activities

The ASCO Netball Summer School 2010 is almost here!

That’s right from the 2nd August to 6th August 2010 you will have your chance to come to the ASCO netball summer school. As last year the venue will be Cheshunt School and will be between the hours of 10am to 3pm.

It’s a time for great fun and enjoyment. The summer school is open to both beginners and experienced players between the ages of 7 to 16 years.

The cause will be run by experienced teachers and netball coaches. Our summer school will offer a varied programme of coaching from;

» Basic Skills- throwing, catching, footwork, marking and dodging.
